The short answer
Expect three layers of cost: the platform (HighLevel’s subscription and usage), the setup (someone configuring it), and ongoing care (someone keeping it working). Most sticker shock comes from only budgeting for the first.
1. HighLevel’s own fees
HighLevel publishes three plans — $97 Starter, $297 Unlimited and $497 Agency Pro (SaaS mode). Usage is billed on top: SMS at fractions of a cent per segment plus carrier fees, email per thousand, and AI voice minutes for the AI Employee (or a flat $97 per sub-account for unlimited AI Employee use). A2P 10DLC registration carries one-time and monthly carrier fees — HighLevel lists roughly $24.50 for the brand, about $15.75 for campaign vetting, and up to $11.03 per campaign per month. A HIPAA add-on is $297 a month.
2. Setup — what the market actually charges
